Terms and Conditions - Library Resource Centre
- User certifies that the information provided to the Central Sanskrit University Library (CSU Library) is correct and complete.
- Users shall use the CSU Library access credentials for individual use only and shall not share these credentials with others or use them for multiple users on a network or otherwise.
- User acknowledges that the responsibility for the authenticity, relevance, completeness, accuracy, reliability, and suitability of the content accessed through CSU Library rests with the respective organization from where the content is sourced. The CSU Library holds no responsibility for this content.
- Users agree that the content provided by CSU Library is intended for personal and/or institutional learning and knowledge enrichment
purposes only and may not be used for any commercial purposes. User is restricted from the following activities:
- Publishing any material accessed through CSU Library in any media without explicit permission from the respective source organization.
- Publicly performing and/or displaying any material accessed through CSU Library in any media without explicit permission from the respective source organization.
- Using the CSU Library platform in any way could damage the platform or the website/portal of any source organization linked to CSU Library.
- Using the CSU Library platform in any way that negatively impacts users' access to the CSU Library or the website/portal of any source organization linked to CSU Library.
- Using the CSU Library platform contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any way that may cause harm to CSU Library or any of its source organizations.
- Engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extraction, or any other similar activities using the CSU Library platform, or the website/portal of any source organization linked to CSU Library.
- User understands that the copyright of the content rests with the respective author, publisher, or organization from where the content is accessed, and neither the full content nor any part of it may be copied, reproduced, or used for any purpose without permission from the respective copyright holder.
- User acknowledges that the respective author, the source organization, Central Sanskrit University, or the Government of India, as applicable, owns the rights to the intellectual property of the respective material provided by CSU Library or accessed through it, and all such rights are reserved.
- User understands that neither Central Sanskrit University nor any source organization of CSU Library is liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting from the use of CSU Library or any information or data accessed through CSU Library. Additionally, Central Sanskrit University or any source organization of CSU Library is not liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind whatsoever (including, without limitation, legal fees) in any way due to, resulting from, or arising in connection with the use or inability to use CSU Library or the website/portal of any source organization linked to CSU Library.
- User understands that if any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms and Conditions unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
- The user understands that CSU Library reserves the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time as it sees fit, and s/he shall be bound by the prevailing Terms and Conditions.
- User understands that CSU Library reserves the right to withdraw or suspend access to its platform or the website/portal of any source organization linked to CSU Library.
- User acknowledges that CSU Library reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the use of its platform by any person who breaches these Terms and Conditions. The limitation of liability and indemnity outlined above shall survive any such termination.
